We’re an independent production company based in Stockport. We create formats and factual entertainment and we’re proud to be part of the Riverview Group - a diverse collective of companies spanning tech, healthcare, recruitment and now media.
Our group is led by Ajaz Rathore, an entrepreneur who began in textiles and went on to build successful businesses across multiple sectors. As Riverview’s Director, Ajaz champions growth, diversity and ambition...values that underpin everything we do.
What makes CiM different is how we blend business acumen with creativity. Our team merges broadcast and new media talent. Together, we develop ideas with scale, deliver work with polish, and bring fresh perspectives rooted in both our diversity and regionality.
From branded series for global clients to original formats in funded development with UK broadcasters, our mission is simple: make content that cuts through.
CARLY BROOKS | CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Carly Brooks brings 20 years of award-winning experience in television and digital content to CiM. Her career stretches across genres, from the RTS-winning lifestyle series Big Money Munch for BET to Big Proud Party Agency for BBC Three, nominated for a Rose d’Or in Best Multiplatform Series. She created the true crime series Unbreakable for A+E Networks, which went on to win at the True Crime Awards. More recently, Carly has been behind State of Systems, a premium tech series funded by some of the world’s biggest technology companies, including Broadcom, Omnissa and IGEL. And she rounded it off with the BAFTA-winning entertainment format Armchair Detectives for the BBC.
Over two decades, Carly has built a huge network of contacts across comedy, entertainment, factual, lifestyle and true crime. She’s known for bringing the right people together and getting the best out of talent, comedians, writers and creative teams. At CiM, that same energy drives everything we do: ambitious ideas, broadcast-level delivery, and a proud base in Greater Manchester.
Throughout her career, Carly has cultivated a strong track record of collaborating effectively with talent, comedians, writers, and creative teams, successfully developing and delivering numerous projects across television, digital platforms, and audio. Her understanding of diverse content forms and audience engagement is now the driving force behind CIM, a creative content agency founded with the vision of bringing this level of expertise to brands and businesses, while also championing the rich talent pool within the Greater Manchester region.
danny moody | development consultant
Danny has worked in TV development in a career spanning 19 years, specialising in Entertainment, Quiz and Fact-Ent formats.
His credits include Channel 4’s A Lake District Farm Shop, BBC Three’s ‘dancing meets dating’ reality series I Like The Way U Move, the star-studded BBC special Children In Need: Got It Covered, ITV’s Saturday night gameshow Bang On The Money, ITV’s daytime quiz Rebound, the primetime ITV gameshow The Colour Of Money and BBC’s National Lottery quiz, Who Dares Wins.
Across his extensive career Danny has worked as a development executive and producer for the in-house development teams at BBC Studios, TalkbackThames, Purple Productions, 12 Yard, Tiger Aspect and RDF.
HANNAH BAMFORD | SOCIAL & DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Hannah Bamford is a results-driven Social Media and Digital Marketing Executive, based in Manchester who transforms business goals into measurable online success. Her core focus is crafting and executing cohesive, multi-channel digital strategies designed to cut through the noise, boost brand visibility, and drive high-quality traffic across the digital landscape.
Her key expertise spans technical disciplines, including SEO/SEM, dynamic content marketing, profitable PPC campaigns, and strategic social media management in any industry including but not limited to healthcare, technology and property.
XARA RATHORE | MULTIMEDIA PRODUCER
A highly creative and skilled Multimedia Producer with a strong passion for visual storytelling and digital content creation. Xara brings a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end production process, specialising in both long and short-form video for a variety of online platforms. Her expertise covers all stages from concept and scripting to filming, editing, motion graphics and final delivery.
Beyond video, Xara also has experience in producing other engaging multimedia content, including audio and graphic design. Proficient in industry-standard software, she has a keen eye for detail and delivers high-quality, impactful content that resonates with audiences.
